Analyst (Audit - Disputes and Compliance) - Central London

Our client, a Not for profit firm within the Utilities market is seeking an Analyst to join the Disputes and Compliance team. The focus of the role is to mitigate and resolve arising risks, relating to the team’s assurance framework.

You will support, develop and implement compliance checks and audits, as well as conduct analysis and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce committee papers and monthly minutes for board members.
  • Design and implement compliance checks and audits, as part of the wider assurance framework.
  • Undertake analysis and produce reports, as required by the technical auditor and various stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad-hoc team initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for queries.
  • Deliver presentations.
  • Suggest business improvements.

 Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • 1-5 years’ experience in Energy/utilities/regulation/FS/compliance or similar.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is desirable.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft office packages, particularly Excel.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Team player and proactive.
  • Effective communicator.
