Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is seeking strong candidates to support a high profile review project based in Central Glasgow.

They are conducting a large operation, reviewing possible cases of the mis-selling of financial products.

On this project, you would join the investigations team, reviewing customer documentation and information and helping gather and sort the evidence on behalf of claimants.

This role would be ideal for someone with some experience of administration and customer contact, who is methodical and attentive to detail, as you will need to adhere to FCA compliance guidelines and work diligently through assigned cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and sort data, preparing customer cases for further review, using multiple in-house systems
  • Undertake due diligence and comply with company and statutory policy and regulations
  • Proofreading of documents and completion of thorough security checks
  • Communicate clearly with customers and third parties both verbally and via written correspondence, obtaining required information for moving cases forward
  • Advise customers about the claim process and provide to them updates and further information
  • Liaise with senior case handlers and managers and escalate complex cases when necessary
  • Log and allocate cases for review
  • Manage own caseload, working to set deadlines and targets
  • Provide additional support to the team as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months experience in customer service/administrative/office environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently through assigned tasks and problem solve
  • Used to working to targets and deadlines

This a full-time contract role, for a project currently running until March 2020 (with scope for extension), based in Central Glasgow.

There are several intakes throughout October 2019 and two shift patterns on offer:

Night – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 19:00 – 07:00 (3 nights at £183 per shift)

Weekend – Thursday, 19:00 – 07:00 and Saturday and Sunday (07:00 – 19:00) (1 night, 2 days at £183 per shift)

Full training is provided, which will be during the first two weeks, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 before joining your preferred shift pattern.
